40 HOURS OVER 5 DAYS A WEEKMONDAY TO FRIDAY
The post will initially involve structured training in laboratory analysis using polarised light microscopy leading to the formal British Occupational Hygiene Society P401 Qualification for the identification of asbestos in bulk materials. The Applicant Must have excellent attention to detial and be willing to work within a small team at this UKAS accredited. testing laboratory. Must have standard colour vision in order to carry out the analytical work and will be required to undergo a short test at an optician. must be competent in basic microsoft word and excel. needs no previous experience, but must possess GSCE English, Mathematics and a science qualification at an equal or higher level.
