Must have SIA licence (DS), previous relevant experience and a 5 year checkable work/back to school history. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. You need to have access to own transport and current driving licence. Skills required: an approachable, polite and helpful manner, the ability to use your own initiative, and the. judgement to know when to refer to a supervisor, confidence to challenge people when necessary. Duties include: providing a visual deterrent, keeping accurate records and writing short reports, which may be used by the police or courts, patrolling, securing and monitoring premises, sometimes with the aid of CCTV. .
