The job role will include the installation of cable containment, steel wired armour cables, switchgear, lighting, instruments and modifications to control panels on new projects and existing plant on wastewater treatment works, clean water treatment works and pumping stations. Ideally you will also be familiar with low-voltage electrical distribution and. motor control centres. You will have a good understanding of BS7671:2008, testing inspection, principles of motors and motor starting and health and safety Experience in hazardous EX areas, lightning protection and high voltage would be an advantage. To be considered for this position you will need to have the followingNVQ3 in electrical or equivalent. City and Guild qualified.
