We need a librarian to join the team supporting our Business School. You will liaise with academic staff and students on behalf of Learning Resources and support their academic work and research. Key tasks are developing and managing appropriate information resources as well as delivering information literacy programmes, both in the classroom and using new technologies to the growing numbers of distance learning students. Educated with a degree or postgraduate qualification in Librarianship or Information Science, you will have experience of providing library or information services in a Higher Education context, be an excellent communicator, a team player and have a flexible approach to working in a complex, busy environment.
