Negotiable depending on experience
35 per week, Monday - Friday between 9am - 4pm
Assistant chef to be responsible for assisting the head chef in running a full commercial production kitchen on one floor and a smaller service kitchen in the cafe. You will support the head chef in supervising and training individuals with learning disabilities/difficulties in developing catering skills to there own abilities, ensure on a daily basis that the two kitchens are professionally managed to assist the head chef in all functions of the kitchen which would include menus, cooking and purchase of ingredients, hold a certificate in catering or equivalent and up to date food hygiene certificate, good oral and written communication skills, a team player and work in harmony with other team members. .
