This is position based upon a continental shift position within the Engineering Department of Kara Foodservice. The Maintenance Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager as part of an integrated team. They share responsibility for the day to day maintenance of bread making production plant and equipment. This successful candidate must be electrically biased. Main duties involve carrying out effective maintenance of factory production plant and systems, ensuring the correct use of departmental systems and procedures by self, reporting faults immediately and starting effective remedial measures and participating and contributing to the formulation of work plans.The successful candidate must have a recognised trade apprenticeship, posses excellent communication skills and the ability to be a logical and motivated problem solver.
