Main duties: to research, design and develop new interactive platforms for QVC. You will keep up to date with emerging technologies and be able to provide and present technological briefs to senior management. You will provide detailed documentation for all systems and training on systems where necessary. You will also provide support for existing systems in. order to ensure their continued performance. You will assist as required in the operations and developments of the Interactive Services Department. Criteria: Degree in Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent. Commercial experience in software developing an advantage. Knowledge of ASP.NET, VB.NET or C#.NET, SQL Server, AJAX, XHTML, XML, T-SQL, JavaScript, networking, systems architecture, accessibility, SEO, CSS, XSLT, JQuery, basic Flash, video encoding. Understanding of UML Modelling.
