The successful candidate must have experience in working with vulnerable people, have the right attitude and confidence to work with complex needs and challenging behaviour in a non aversive, positive and planned way. Must have high levels of motivation and reliability, excellent team work and a full driver's licence. A recognised teaching or relevant trade qualification such as Catering or Carpentry is essential. A very comprehensive 6 month induction programme and Autism specific training will be provided. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure.
