The successful candidate must have experience in working with vulnerable people, have the right attitude and confidence to work with complex needs and challenging behaviour in a non aversive, positive and planned way. Must have high levels of motivation and reliability, excellent team work and a full driver's licence. A very comprehensive 6 month induction programme and Autism specific training will be provided. Initially offered as 30 hrs per week, with an opportunity to increase to 37 hrs over time and to qualify and progress to Occupational Care Worker post. Part time considered.
