£26,000 - £30,000 PER ANNUM
You will have: a professional qualification in library and information studies, with experience of both AACR2 and MARC cataloguing; good knowledge and a demonstrable interest in. Islamic studies, in general, and Shia and Ismaili history; a working knowledge of at least (one of) Arabic, Persian, or Gujarati; reference experience including the use of e-resources in an academic environment; and ability to prioritise and manage your work effectively. You will assist the Head of Library with the selection, development, cataloguing, classification and management of Ismaili and Special Collections and to provide support to all users.
